Arnold Schwarzenegger Maggie

Arnold Schwarzenegger takes a run at the indie game in this trailer for “Maggie!”

I never thought that there would be a day when I said, “Wow, I can’t wait to see Arnold Schwarzenegger’s performance!” With the trailer for “Maggie” circulating today, I’ll say that Arnold definitely has piqued my interest in regards to his cinematic value. Take a look at the trailer for “Maggie” below starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Abigail Breslin!

I’ll be the first to say that I love Arnold Schwarzenegger films. In the action genre, they’re fun, exciting, and even funny. But, with this film “Maggie” I am more excited than ever seeing Arnold outside of his comfort zone. “Maggie” has the cinematic undertones of a quality indie film, potential to reestablish the zombie genre, and even the potential to gain Arnold Schwarzenegger some acting recognition. I’m not saying that he’s going to be anywhere close to even gaining buzz for an Oscar, but he has the potential to surprise some people being in a film like nothing he’s done before.

Outside of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s role, Academy Award nominee Abigail Breslin plays the role of Arnold’s infected daughter. This wouldn’t be Breslin’s first zombie film (Zombieland) but this is her first zombie film with a more dramatic theme. It will be interesting to see how the father-daughter on screen chemistry plays out between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Abigail Breslin.

As of now, “Maggie” has a May 2015 release date. Will you be anticipating this film?
