‘Breathe’ Trailer Unites Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy In Andy Serkis’ Directorial Debut

Andy Serkis makes his directorial debut with “Breathe.”

Based on the true story of a man who becomes paralyzed by polio, “Breathe” unites Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy in a powerful yet arduous love story. Andy Serkis makes his directorial debut depicting the story of Robin’s (Garfield) journey towards hope.

Andrew Garfield has been a prominent name in dramatic roles as of late. With an Oscar nomination in “Hacksaw Ridge” and an impactful role in “Slience,” Garfield has been on track for an Oscar in the near future. With “Breathe” being Andy Serkis’ directorial debut and being in the dramatic realm, this could also mean recognition for Serkis in the director’s seat as well.

“Breathe” hits theaters on October 13, 2017.
