On Blu-ray February 2, 2016

This is an interesting choice for a plot because it doesn’t involve the Batman we all know so well. That’s right, this time around it’s not about Bruce Wayne, it’s about the bat-family. Bruce Wayne is supposedly dead and Dick Grayson has taken up the role of Batman. At his side is Bruce Wayne’s son Damien Wayne taking on the role of Robin. Also introduced in the film is Batwoman (not Batgirl) and Batwing. Both of these characters are newcomers to the franchise although Batwoman is sort of a re-introduction of the character. While these new characters may entice some fans, the primary interest in this film will surely be the mystery surrounding the death of Bruce Wayne.

Fans can expect some of their favorite actors to return to and be introduced to these characters. Jason O’Mara will be the voice of Bruce Wayne, Yvonne Strahovski (“Dexter”) will be the voice of Batwoman, Sean Maher (“Firefly”) will return as the voice of Nightwing, and Ernie Hudson (“Ghostbusters”) will be the voice of Lucius Fox. But while the film may be highly anticipated, fans will still have some time to wait. Hopefully for now this trailer will satiate our appetite until we get to see the full feature.

“Batman Bad Blood” is set for digital release on January 19, 2016 and the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack will release on February 2, 2016.
