Review: The ‘Star Wars’ Radio Dramas

Sadly this year’s ‘Star Wars’ Day (May the 4th) snuck up on me, despite me having an idea for a while. So you’d think that’s it. Either wait until next year or just release it late for everyone to see how late you are. However, today is May 6th as in Revenge of the Sixth. I’m counting it as a “Star Wars” Day and I’m ok with claiming this was all planned. So anyway why review this? Well I find it to be a fascinating little piece of “Star Wars” media and I like sharing that kind of stuff.

The Top 5 Weirdest Christian Media I saw Growing Up

I’ve probably mentioned this before, but aside from being a film buff I am also a Christian. My family while believers were also never HUGE into it. Still I was exposed some Christian media growing up that is like a weird repressed memory at this point. Since I enjoy introducing people to obscure stuff others rarely talk about here goes nothing. I’m not going over “Bibleman,” I was aware of the show as my younger cousin had some tapes and toys, but I was bit too old for that and haven’t seen anything of aside from the covers.

Back to the Drawing Board: In Defense of “The Simpsons” ‘Principle and the Pauper’ Episode

There are few certainties in this world. One of the most prevalent is that ‘The Simpsons’ used to be practically perfect in every way. However, has since gone downhill. Now some of that is still open to interpretation. The public seems to agree that the golden era of the show were seasons 3 through 8. It’s not hard to see where they’re coming from in terms of the sheer amount of classic episodes that came out during that time. Personally I think the golden era extended a few seasons beyond that. In fact, season 9 contains my personal favorite episode “Lisa’s Sax.” For me the best time for “The Simpsons” were when Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein were running the show. It had the best balance of really funny jokes with genuine emotion. They quit after the 8th season as they didn’t want to overstay their welcome.

A Look Back at Recent Trailers (1)

I’ve had this idea to make a feature out of looking at a bunch of recent trailers. You may have noticed our lack of articles for each new trailer coming out, mostly due to just how many come out at once sometimes. Now in each of these specific cases I watched them at times when it wasn’t possible to do a reaction video. So consider this a pilot-article so to speak. If this goes well I’ll try to make sure I have a reaction video with each. For now enjoy just reading my thoughts after each trailer.
