‘IP MAN 3’ Character Posters Give First Look At Bruce Lee

Ip Man 3 -

‘IP MAN 3′ releases 6 new character posters for the upcoming 3rd installment to the epic martial arts series, including a first glimpse at Bruce Lee’ character.

With an action-packed teaser trailer launching ‘IP MAN 3’ into the public spotlight back in November, this late January release has yet to reveal many of its main characters… until now. We at FilmFad managed to get our hands on all 6 of the exclusive ‘IP MAN 3’ character posters for your viewing pleasure (which you can see in the section below). While the initial project was surrounded with some legal red-tape due to ownership rights relating to the Bruce Lee name and likeness, it seems ‘IP MAN 3’ has finally cleared the courts and set course for the big screen with Bruce Lee in tow!

While the posters look great, I’m more so excited to see how they incorporate the Bruce Lee character into the film and the extent to which he will be displaying his signature fighting prowess. Given that Ip Man seems to already be in full-on Bad-Ass mode in the trailer as he faces off against “IRON” Mike Tyson’s Frank, I imagine Lee will fall into more of the supplementary pupil role. The movie is titled ‘Ip Man’ after all. Either way, combining Bruce Lee, Mike Tyson, Ip Man all with Donnie Yen’s dazzling on-screen kung-fu finese should make for a feature length presentation well-worth watching.

Incase you missed it, you can watch the epic trailer for ‘IP MAN 3’ below.

Donnie Yen (‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ and ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2’) adulates fans of martial arts cinema as he reprises the role that made him an icon –  Ip Man. This serves as the trilogy topper in the film series chronicling the real-life of Ip Man, the Wing Chun grandmaster credited with mentoring Bruce Lee. In this installment, a band of brutal gangsters headed by a crooked developer named Frank (played by Mike Tyson) make a play to take over the city. With no other choice, Master Ip Man is once again forced to take a stand against his city’s oppressors.

‘IP MAN 3’ kicks its way into domestic theaters on January 22, 2016.

About The Author

Since his wee lad-dom, Pooya has been a sommelier of cinema. It was likely some acting bug, fallen from the dust riddled ruby curtains of an enchanted old stage that did it. Those cinematic scarabs must have burrowed deep into his brain, irreversibly altering his mind, turning the poor boy down a dismal path. From his earliest years the strange boy would aimlessly wander the aisles of countless video rental stores, amassing his trivial knowledge with vigor. These actions befuddled the boy’s parents, who still would lovingly oblige his unusual attraction to the motion picture. Often seeking refuge in the cushioned seating of his local movie theater, the odd adolescent would immerse himself in the scripted and effects riddled realities unfolding on the screen before him. During his collegiate years, he was twice spotted on stage performing bizarre theatrical rituals before awe-struck audiences. When he departed from academia, he left behind his youth in exchange for a labor routine, but the strange young man never lost his long-cultivated love of film. Recently, Pooya was approached by to join their budding team of entertainment bloggers. After hours of coaxing and an undisclosed number of honey jars, he accepted their offer. Finally he had come full circle. Finally, at, he was home.
