Funko Pop Leaks a HUGE Spoiler for ‘Captain America: Civil War’

Funko Pop! may have leaked some BIG spoilers for “Captain America: Civil War!”

Be Warned, SPOILERS below!

Over the past couple of years, toy lines have been revealing key details about upcoming films. Well this time around Funko, the company that created those addictively collectible vinyl Pop! figures may have revealed something huge about the upcoming third Captain America film, Captain America: Civil War.

It was revealed by a online retailer that “Ant-Man” may not have the “small” role that we expected in the film. The upcoming line of Pop! figure releases for “Civil War” was revealed by Southern Hobby and it included a special figure named “Giant-Man.”

Given that this retailer hides all of their images and products unless you register, I thought it may have been a hoax to generate visibility for their store. But when we look at the leaked Lego photos for “Captain America: Civil War,” this information seems to be more than plausible.

For those of you who don’t know, the suit that Ant-Man wears can work both ways per the comic books. While Ant-Man is the more popular persona, he has also donned the title of Giant-Man by manipulating the Pym particles to grow in size rather than just shrinking.

If Giant-Man is in “Captain America: Civil War,” that could be why we don’t see Paul Rudd in any of the trailer footage. Some thought it may be due to Ant-Man shrinking in size but this could be a big reveal about his character’s evolution that Marvel was saving as a surprise. Unfortunately now, the cat’s out of the bag and the surprise may have been ruined. It’s not yet confirmed but it does seem very likely that Ant-Man will become Giant-Man in “Captain America: Civil War.”

What do you think? Will we see Giant-Man in “Captain America: Civil War?”
