Netflix’s “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events” series has been highly anticipated by the fans of the books and now the trailer is finally here. The series stars Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf and co-stars Joan Cusack, Malina Weissman, Louis Hynes, Alfre Woodard and Patrick Warburton.
You might remember this hasn’t been the first time Lemony Snicket’s work has been adapted. Jim Carrey headlined a theatrically released “Unfortunate Events” film back in 2004 to mixed reception from critics and audiences. Speaking as someone who saw that movie in theaters (and can’t remember a single thing about it today), this trailer looks pretty promising and is already more entertaining than the entirety of the movie.
All 8 episodes of the show are set to debut January 13, 2017 on Netflix.
