New Incredible Hulk Film and TV series coming says Lou Ferrigno

Lou-Ferrigno-Interview-Hulk

There may be plans for both a TV series and film for the Hulk according to TV’s first Hulk Lou Ferrigno!

In an exclusive interview with Lou Ferrigno at the Wizard World Comic Con, Lou Ferrigno discussed the evolution of the Hulk from film to television. After discussing his opinion of the Hulks portrayed on the big screen, I asked about his opinion of the Hulk coming back to television and who his choice would be. This is when he revealed that a TV series is coming in addition to a film in the works.

So if there were to be another TV series today and they were going to have a live action portrayal, who do you think would be today’s Hulk?

Lou Ferrigno

Well to tell you the truth they plan to do a TV series someday and it will probably be CGI, I don’t think you’ll ever see a human Hulk again. Because with the technology people would rather see something that is a little more animated like CGI.

Do you know who is planning on doing the series, which studios?

Lou Ferrigno

That’s a long way from now because I think down the road, I think in another year, they’re going to film a solo Hulk movie. But I think the series can happen if they finish doing the Avengers or the Hulk movie, that’s my guess for now.

Originally we heard that Guillermo Del Toro was attached to a television series which was said to be scrapped and instead take the form of another feature film (ScreenRant). According to Lou Ferrigno, the TV series is still on the table, along with the feature film which he says will begin film a year from now. The filming schedule falls right in line for Marvel’s Phase 3.

Incredible Hulk solo film may start filming after Avengers 2

While you may be excited about the news of a television series, I would limit your excitement to the news of the announcement only and don’t hold your breath for a release date. It may be on the table but even Lou stated that it is a long way from now.

I will say is they might do a Hulk TV series after the Avengers or Hulk movie but this time they might find will find a better actor that looks alot like Norton or Bixby for the New Hulk TV series for Dr.Bruce Banner that will be in his mid twenties.

I am very happy about a New Hulk TV series and Lou Ferrigno will be proud to see another actor to play Bruce Banner in his mid twenties like Edward Norton.

Gilberto Edwards

I think the New Hulk TV series will be a good thing because they might hire solid young actor lookalike for Bruce Banner which will make the TV series be a better success out of it.

Gilberto Edwards

I think the New Hulk TV show will happen after mybe the Hulk movie or The Avengers movies.

Gilberto Edwards

I want to say that first Hulk movie was kind of cartoonist and rubbery including the storyline didn’t make any sense at all. But the second Hulk movie was better because they made the storyline more realistic than the first one.

Gilberto Edwards

Like what Lou Ferrigno was saying that the marvel studios or CGI designers need to be careful because they need to know what they are doing when its CGI it could go either way.

Gilberto Edwards

I believe if they do a New Hulk TV series they to add alot to CGI for example like prosthetics and puppetry including Lou Ferrigno Hulk concept drawings will work.

Gilberto Edwards

That is the truth they are doing a Cloak and Dagger with a Hulk prequel and Jessica Jones.

Jason Roberts

I think a body builder… especially since they get even bigger these days would be better than cgi…sick of the cartoonist cgi monsters…
