Wizard World Highlights Deadpool Film with Comic Con Box Exclusive

Wizard World gets ready for “Deadpool” with Comic Con Box Exclusive.

Wizard World is expanding their reach by offering fans monthly box subscriptions like the very successful Loot Crate boxes. But what makes their box even more exciting is the reach they’re gaining with their niche market of convention goers.

Exclusive Deadpool Greg Horn Variant

Capitalizing on the popularity of the upcoming Deadpool film, their February box will carry a Comic Con Box only exclusive. Just in time for the film’s February 12th release date, Wizard World and Marvel have announced that they will have an exclusive variant cover by Greg Horn for the upcoming comic book “Deadpool & The Merc$ for Money #1” in next month’s Comic Con Box.

The story of the comic book will maintain the essence of the character but will move past the origin story presented in the upcoming film. In this title, Deadpool will be an Avenger and will also have his own private team of mercenaries called “Mercs for Money.” The team of mercs will include our favorite merc with the mouth (Deadpool) as well as Stingray, Massacre, Solo, Foolkiller, Terror, and Slapstick. Cullen Bunn will serve as writer for the first issue and Salva Espin will be the artist attached.

For fans looking to supplement their own Deadpool craving, the Comic Con Box may be something to try out for the month of February. For more information you can check out the packages over at http://www.comicconbox.com/.
