Tim Miller Exits “Deadpool 2” Over Ryan Reynolds Creative Differences

Tim Miller Exits “Deadpool 2!”

Fans of “Deadpool” have been eagerly awaiting the sequel but they got some bad news yesterday.  Deadline announced yesterday that director Tim Miller has decided to step down as director of “Deadpool 2” after citing the ever-popular “creative differences” between himself and producer/star Ryan Reynolds.  According to sources, the split between Miller and Reynolds was reportedly amicable.  Even so, this news is likely to come as a blow to fans of the original movie.

Naturally, this isn’t exactly good news for Fox, who’ve already been going through some tough times with their biggest franchise.  Hugh Jackman is about to hang up his Wolverine claws for good and the X-Men brand took some heavy damage after the disappointing reception and box office returns of “X-Men: Apocalypse.”

The good news is that there’s no need to feel bad for Miller since by all accounts he’s still on good terms with Fox.  He will reportedly continue to work for the studio on another project called “Influx” based on the novel by Daniel Suarez.  Naturally, Fox is hoping to make into another franchise.

Who do you think should step in for “Deadpool 2?”  Sound off in the comment section below.
