Emilia Clarke Breaks Silence: Revival of Jon Snow from ‘Game of Thrones’?

The last episode of “Game of Thrones” probably disturbed many Jon Snow fans as we watched his comrades take turns stabbing him to death.

For the Watch!

Mock-Up of Snow as a White Walker

Ugh, it was gruesome. Since that episode there has been discussion about Jon Snow re-appearing in future episodes after Kit Harington (who plays Jon Snow) was spotted in Northern Ireland. Some fans guess that he is being brought back to life by Melisandre, return as a white walker, or be resurrected through fire revealing a Targaryen heritage could now all be possibilities. Or it could be that Kit Harington is simply filming some flashbacks or the next season will pick up right where it left off with him dying in the snow.

However, Daenerys Targaryen star, Emilia Clarke, has been the first GOT actress to suggest that Jon Snow may be returning. In a MTV interview she talked about her initial reaction to Harington’s character dying, stating that she cried and had to take the “kid [Harington]” out for numerous drinks. She also, and more importantly, admitted that she has no clue about Snow’s future, but she guesses

George RR Martin, author of GOT, has been asked about Snow’s return, as well. He recently told Entertainment Weekly that “if there’s one thing we know in A Song of Ice and Fire, it’s that death is not necessarily permanent. Opponents of the theory about Snow’s rival is from Harington and Director David Nutter, who suggest that the character is “deader than dead.”

What do you think? Is Clarke teasing fans about the possibility of Jon Snow returning? Is there enough evidence to suggest he is returning?
