Bond 24 has its femme fatale with Léa Seydoux joining the cast

“Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’s” Léa Seydoux joins the cast of “Bond 24.”

Léa Seydoux will join Daniel Craig and Ralph Fiennes in “Bond 24” as well as the other female lead Naomie Harris according to IndieWire. Her role is said to be the more villainous femme fatale that is a signature role within most James Bond films.

Baz Bamigboye reports that Seydoux has joined “Bond 24” as the femme fatale. So does this mean Seydoux is the “bond girl” for this film? We’ll see, but the stiletto heel fits, and certainly .007 hasn’t had the best of luck with the women he beds in the Daniel Craig era.

The French Actress Léa Seydoux has had a prominent career thus far while remaining mostly unknown outside of facial recognition. While her credits include films like “Midnight in Paris,” “Inglorious Bastards,” and “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” her most notably related film in a Bond-like genre would be “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.” In the film she played a beautifully cold villain which I’m sure that Director Sam Mendes hopes to channel in “Bond 24.”

The film is slated for release in 2015 and in the normal Bond film fashion, there has been little to no circulating media. I’m sure that we won’t find out much about the film until right before the release.

What do you think of Léa Seydoux being cast?
