‘A Very Murray Christmas Special’ Full Netflix Trailer Arrives

Bill Murray brings the holiday spirit in this star-studded trailer for his Netflix special.

Bill Murray is coming to Netflix this holiday with Christmas special all his own…mostly. While he is the ring leader of this special, he’s also joined by some by some major names in Hollywood including George Clooney and Miley Cyrus. The trailer gives us a preview of what we can expect from the special along with a list of all of the guest stars set to appear. So check out this Sofia Coppola directed project for yourself in the trailer below.

If the camera work looks familiar and you’re a true Bill Murray fan, then you may recognize that this is a nostalgic reunion for Murray and Director Sofia Coppola. One of his more notable roles was in the film “Lost in Translation” which was arguably the most critically acclaimed project directed by Coppola. Some may not notice the resemblance of tone or lighting in “A Very Murray Christmas Special” but for the fans of Coppola (myself included), you may get a nostalgic throwback to some of her iconic films.

As said above, the special will also feature many other guest stars. In addition to the mentioned stars above, we can also expect to see Amy Poehler, Michael Cera, Chris Rock, Jason Schwartzman, Maya Rudolph, Rashida Jones, and more. I’m sure that with that many stars, this will be one of the most viewed projects on Netflix and I can see why. The Bill Murray following alone is huge but to supplement this special with so many other big names, it’s going to be a guaranteed hit.

“A Very Murray Christmas Special” is set to release on December 4, 2015 on Netflix.

Will you be watching “A Very Murray Christmas Special?” Is it because of Bill Murray or the huge star list? Maybe a bit of both?
