Zoe Saldana Confirms Gamora Is In ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

“Guardians of the Galaxy” character Gamora is confirmed for “Avengers: Infinity War!”

While being interviewed on the Golden Globes red carpet, Zoe Saldana was asked about her “Guardians of the Galaxy” character (Gamora) being in “Avengers: Infinity War.” Her response was a simple nod and then she proceeded to elaborate further on the details.

“I don’t know when they’re gonna let me read it. I mean, I’m not looking forward to the five hours of green make-up, but every time I finally arrive on set I feel so happy and lucky to be there.”

While it is practically confirmed that the Guardians of the Galaxy will be making an appearance in “Avengers: Infinity War,” we are uncertain in what capacity. Further details may be revealed in “Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2” but Zoe Saldana is the first actor to confirm the appearance.

From what she stated in the interview, her appearance in the film may be more limited than other characters. With filming already underway and Saldana yet to read any of the script, we could speculate that the Guardians may show up in a supplemental capacity. Maybe the final battle or maybe even something as minor as a lead in to the second film to follow.
