This ‘Stranger Things’ ‘Buffy’ Mashup Makes My Heart Happy

A fan mashed up “Stranger Things” with the “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” Intro!

Supernatural themes and a strong heroine that saves the day. “Stranger Things” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” share these elements, but one fan took it a step further. In the style of the popular Joss Whedon series, one YouTube fan has compiled quite an intro for the Netflix series. Take a look at this fan’s “Stranger Things/Buffy” mashup below and let the nostalgic feels flow through you!

“Buffy The Vampire Slayer” has been a staple series on my personal TV must-watch list. More recently I added “Stranger Things” to that list for many of the same reasons. The adolescent comradery coupled with a supernatural element carried a sense of wonder and chemistry that made me an instant fan. Both of these shows are unique but these common elements are what make this mashup so fulfilling.

“Stranger Things” has already been approved for a second season and fans and cast members are both excited. Videos like the one seen above show the type of cult following that has already been established. I’m sure that there will be many more fan projects to come about in anticipation for the second season.

Tell us what you thought of the “Stranger Things” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” mashup!
