‘Injustice 2’ Preview Of Swamp Thing Looks Epic!

We have a new challenger! Here comes Swamp Thing!

With a plethora of new characters being introduced, “Injustice 2” is already looking like an essential fighting game for gamers. The introduction of Swamp Thing is a personal favorite of mine and the footage showcasing his abilities does not disappoint. Check out the footage below.

NetherRealm Studios have already shown us a few new character highlights as well as some revamped old ones. In addition to Swamp Thing, a variety of new characters have been confirmed vastly increasing the roster from the previous “Injustice.” Supergirl, Robin, Poison Ivy, Gorilla Grodd, Deadshot, Braniac, Blue Beetle, Black Canary, Atrocitus, and Darkseid are all newcomers to the game.

The fighting mechanics for “Injustice 2” have not changed much if at all. The one improvement that we can all look forward to is a visual revamp of the original given that next gen systems are now predominant in the gaming market. Movement looks more fluid and the game looks more visually vibrant as well.

The only struggle thus far has been with the writing and attempting to prevent overlap from the first game. The introduction of Braniac was key in distancing this sequel farther from its predecessor while still capturing the feel.

“Injustice 2” will make its debut on May 16, 2017.
