Hunger Games’ Jena Malone to play Robin in Batman vs Superman

Jena Malone has been reported as playing a female Robin in “Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

According to Variety, the “Hunger Games” star Jena Malone has been revealed as the female version of Robin in the upcoming “Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice” film. WILX-10, a Michigan local news station, spoke with one of the film’s extras who revealed that Robin is female.

“I’ve also learned that the character of Robin is now female,” he said alluding to the film’s top secret script.

Female Robin Carrie Kelley From TDKR

In conjunction with the revelation of a Robin sex change, Jena Malone has been spotted on the set of “Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice” with a new red hairdo which resembles “The Dark Knight Returns” version of Robin, Carrie Kelly.

The anonymous extra who spoke to WILX could face a fine of $5 million due to a non-disclosure agreement that was signed with Warner Bros. If his leak did in fact confirm Jena Malone as the new Robin, I think that Warner Bros. will definitely pursue that fine.

If true, Jena Malone will join other “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Gal Gadot. The film is currently set for release on March 25, 2016.
