With all of these bigger name celebrity deaths of the past year or so it can be easy to overlook someone like Michael Parks who passed away on May 10th at the age of 77. No word yet about the exact cause of death. This was confirmed by his agent, Jane Schulman. He is survived by his wife and son, Oriana and James. Born in April in 1940 in Corona, California. You may not recognize the name, but he's been in some of the best (and worst) reviewed films of the past couple of years.

Kevin Smith saunters back behind the camera for faux-horror dramedy, “Tusk.” Conceived from a seemingly cannabis induced colloquy between writer/director Kevin Smith and long-time production comrade Scott Mosier on their weekly SModacast, the story of “Tusk” errantly clambers it’s way through a cloyingly windy script. The story follows an impetuous and unashamed mustached podcaster who […]

Kevin Smith had a set genre for quite some time but every now and then he ventures from his comfort zone. “Tusk” is his first film in the horror genre but still seems to have a dark comedy tone. Take a look at the trailer below. The main horror threat seems to be very similar […]
