When it arrived and surpassed the expectations of its viewers it brought a smile to the faces of longtime fans and newcomers. It's a film that's worthy of being called a "Star Wars" film and also worthy of being called a cinematic masterpiece.

‘Star Wars The Force Awakens’ Numbers are a Bit Insane

It was expected to do well this weekend but it’s still a bit surprising to see the numbers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Domestically the film pulled in over $238 million with some estimating around $245 million. Either way, “Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens” now holds the top spot for opening weekend numbers.
