Amy Poehler & Tina Fey Team Up In Sisters Trailer

Amy Poehler and Tina Fey team up again in “Sisters!”

When it comes to SNL alum, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are two HUGE names. With a successful career following their “Saturday Night Live” retirement, they’ve proven themselves time and time again. Now they are teaming up once again in the film “Sisters.” Check out the trailer below!

We’ve seen Tina Fey and Amy Poehler team up in film before. In the film “Baby Mama” Amy Poehler and Tina Fey played more of a female odd couple. In “Sisters” they play sisters (obviously) who share a rebellious attitude towards their wealthy parents. When their parents end up selling the house they grew up in, Poehler and Fey decide to throw one last party.

This plot is very similar to the film “A Good Old Fashion Orgy” starring another SNL alum (Jason Sudekis). In that film Sudekis’ family home is being sold and he decides to throw one last party which turns into an orgy.

With so many films releasing so quickly, many will seem to share a similar plot. Just because some films share elements doesn’t necessarily mean they will be bad but it does leave little room for surprises. With Tina Fey and Amy Poehler working together, I think we can at least see some potential for “Sisters.” Two brilliant comedic minds together in a film directed by Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore could be a formula for success. Whether or not that formula is put together well is still questionable but I’m sure many will flock to see the Fey/Poehler duo together again.

How do you think “Sisters” will be? Will you be seeing it in theaters?
