“The courage of one will change the world.”
Katniss and crew are charging back towards the big screen and, judging by the latest trailer for “The Mockingjay Lives,” this will be an epic beyond what we have come to see in previous installments of “The Hunger Games.”
Directed by Francis Lawrence with a screenplay adapted by Peter Craig and Danny Strong, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” will revolve around the 1st half of Suzanne Collins’ “Mockingjay,” the 3rd and final installment in “The Hunger Games” trilogy of novels.
This film picks up where “Catching Fire” left off in 2013, where Katniss becomes a reluctant heroine and symbol of hope for the nation of Panem after deftly escaping the third Quarter Quell. After tidily shattering the Games forever, katniss returns to District 13 where, under the leadership of President Alma Coin (Julianne Moore) and advice of her most trusted friends, she begins to embrace her heroic mantle and fights to save Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and the Nation of Panem.
“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Donald Sutherland, Stanley Tucci, Jeffrey Wright, Natalie Dormer, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, and Willow Shields.
“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” will hit theaters November 21, 2014.
