‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2’ Trailer Leaks Early

The “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2” trailer has leaked a day early!

While we got a bit of a tease from Stephen Amell on Facebook, it seems the tease was short-lived. The trailer for “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2” was supposed to appear tomorrow morning, but someone leaked the trailer early on Facebook. Check out the trailer below!

Just like the last film we see a lot of what we can expect from Michael Bay but there are also some slight moments of nostalgia as well. This time around we see the introduction of new characters like Casey Jones played by Stephen Amell. We also see a couple throwbacks to the 1980s and 1990s with the Turtle Van actually shooting manhole covers much like the 1990s Pizza Shooter toy. But the big reveal that everyone was waiting for was the introduction of Bebop and Rocksteady. This was the first time these characters were introduced in a live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film.

While the first film wasn’t well received, fans still flocked to the film and obviously it had enough momentum to push a sequel through. From this trailer it seems like we can expect much of the same action and with a sequel budget, probably a bit more.

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2” is slated for release on June 3, 2016.

What did you think of the trailer? Do you think “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2” will surpass the first film?
