‘Rogue One’ Olympics Trailer Reveals Star Wars Icon Darth Vader
Vader is coming in this new “Rogue One” trailer!
For those not following the Olympics, tonight was a reason to watch closely. The latest trailer for “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” appeared and gave us a preview of the action to come. We learn a bit more about the characters, see some new planetary scenery, and gain perspective regarding the magnitude of the Death Star mission. Take a look at the trailer below.
I’ve heard the rumors about production troubles and rewrites but after seeing this trailer, I honestly do not care. This looks amazing and I’ll reveal my own “Star Wars” bias by saying that if this film is even on the level of the prequels I’ll still enjoy it.
“Rogue One” is going to be a first for the “Star Wars” franchise not having the signature episode title like all of the others. Without a true episode number, this film would sequentially be Episode 3.5 (I don’t know halves in Roman numerals). Hopefully it will live up to expectations and set a precedence for the demand for other “Star Wars” spinoffs and side stories. But regardless of whether this film meets or beats expectations, what a time to live in! Keep the “Star Wars” machine going Disney, I’m ready for more!
