Michael C. Hall joins Don Johnson in trailer for Cold in July

Cold In July

“Dexter’s” Michael C. Hall joins Don Johnson and Sam Shepard in “Cold in July!”

Michael C. Hall has been slightly off the radar since Showtime’s “Dexter” ended, but now he’s back in the feature film “Cold in July.” This suspenseful thriller also adds Don Johnson and Sam Shepard to the mix with Johnson trying to protect Hall from Shepard’s retaliatory rampage due to the justified killing of his criminal son. Take a look at the trailer below!

This seems like an enjoyable suspense film including some fan favorite actors. Michael C. Hall plays the role of the victim which is a change for us who know him from “Dexter” and Don Johnson and Sam Shepard add that good versus evil Texas feel that they’ve both proven to portray very well. “Cold in July” also includes Vinessa Shaw who has had some smaller recent roles in film but was also a childhood crush from films like “Hocus Pocus” and “Ladybugs.”

“Cold in July” has a superb lineup that will appeal to a certain fan-base for sure. Keep an eye out for it On Demand and on DVD and Blu-Ray October 20th.
