‘Hail Caesar!’ Trailer Debuts With All Star Cast

Hail-Caesar-George-Cloonery

The trailer for the Coen Brothers’ “Hail Caesar!” has arrived!

The Coen Brothers are back and coming strong with their first trailer for “Hail Caesar!” Check out the trailer for the eclectic comedy below.

The cast list is huge (as expected) for “Hail Caesar!” With George Clooney, Josh Brolin, Scarlett Johansson, and Channing Tatum on board, this Coen Brothers film is sure to attract audiences. It should also bring out the cinephiles with the Coen Brothers’ knack for for creating cult classics like “The Big Lebowski.”

“Hail Caesar!” has elements that make a Coen Brothers movie their own. The fast-paced, skittish motions of the characters involved in some sort of ridiculous scandal is what makes the Coen Brothers so fun. They capture a sense of reality with the time period and the film industry but they also make it apparent that this is indeed fiction.

The kidnapping of an actor held for ransom that the studio making a movie are asked to pay is believable but at the same time an absurd situation. The situation is indeed comical but it paints the characters more as caricatures given the circumstances. While the Coen Brothers tend to capture a sort of parody of life, their films always seem to send a message of reality despite some obvious moments of satire.

“Hail Caesar!” is set to release on February 5, 2016.
